What Is the Xplorer Course?
Our Xplorer Course takes you high above Irchester Country Park, well into the tree canopy itself. Here you will find over 50 high-wire activities and exercises spread across a multi-level adventure course. The route you take determines how much of a challenge you face, so you can always find something that appeals to you. The activities include...

We want you to get the most out of your time with us. We recommend you arrive around 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time slot so our instructors can go through the safety instructions before you take part in the course. This means you can maximise the time you spend on the course itself.

Additional Info
We welcome larger groups to our Northampton site who wish to take part in our Xplorer course. This includes corporate groups planning a team-building exercise or a reward day for their staff, as well as youth organisations. The Xplorer course is popular among secondary school and college students, as well as scouts, guides, and cadets who want a fun yet challenging treetop experience. Our Xplorer Course is intended for adults and older children. This means that age and height restrictions need to be applied for their safety.
The minimum age for the course is 10 years old, but anyone wishing to take part will need to be at least 1.35m (4’ 6″) tall so they can safely operate the various pieces of equipment.
We want to make sure all of our visitors are safe and happy when they use our Xplorer course in Northampton. That means ensuring there are sufficient adults in your group to supervise any children aged between 10 and 13 years old. We define an adult as anyone aged 18 or over, and they will need to take part in the course too. There needs to be a minimum of one adult for every two children under 14 on the course at any given time. Children aged 15–17 do not require supervision.
