What Is the Xplorer Course?
Our Xplorer Course takes you into the tree canopy of Lydiard House and Park, where you will find more than 50 exciting high-wire activities to take part in. There are different routes to take that offer a greater or lesser challenge, and you can choose the best way for you. The activities on offer include the following...

To make sure you get your full time on the Xplorer Course, we advise you to arrive no later than 15 minutes before the start of your session. This gives our instructors the time they need to walk you through the safety instructions prior to you climbing up on the course.

Additional Info
Larger groups are welcome on our Xplorer course in Northampton. We receive many group bookings from Scout and Guide troops and secondary schools looking for challenging activities for older children and teenagers. Adults aren’t excluded either, with many businesses booking a session on the course as a corporate team-building event or a day out for staff. Our Xplorer Course is intended for adults and older children, which means we have to apply certain age and height restrictions for the safety of our visitors.
The minimum age for the course is 10 years old, but all participants must also be at least 1.35m (4’ 6″) tall to be able to navigate the course safely.
If you are bringing children aged 10–13 years onto the course, you must make sure there is a paying adult in the group who will be taking part in the course with them. We define an adult as anyone aged 18 or over, so older siblings can perform the role if you’d rather not climb the course yourself. There should be a minimum of one adult for every two children under 14 on the course at any given time. Children aged 15–17 do not require supervision.
